In-Home Services, Simplified: Get the Answers You Need
Cleaning & Meal Prep Questions
Yes, you will need to provide supplies, or let me know your preferences and I will shop for them. All supplies will be left at your place, as they will be your property. I do not charge a mark-up on items so you will only be responsible for the total cost of the items plus tax. I provide the cleaning rags and brushes, vacuum, and my steam machine. You will need to have toilet brushes and cleaners.
I offer in-home meal prep, meal planning, and basic cooking services using your ingredients, in your kitchen. Whether you want a week of grab-and-go lunches, a few ready-to-bake dinners, or help preparing your favorite recipes—I've got you covered. I can follow specific dietary preferences, help with grocery list planning, and make sure your kitchen is clean when I leave. You come home to meals ready to go and no mess to deal with.
I am happy to use natural cleaners if you or your family have sensitivities to chemicals. But otherwise I can use regular cleaners as well. I also have a high-powered steam machine that I prefer to use if there is build up or grime that needs something strong.
I ran a professional laundromat for over 2 years and got very good at proper laundry care. I follow all clothes, cleaner, and machine recommendations. I am not responsible for things such as normal wear and tear, machine issues, or random bleach spots or stains that may occur due to your particular cleaners or machines.
Total Life Maintenance Questions
I grew up around construction as my father was a carpenter. I have helped build multiple homes and have a firm understanding of framing and the entire house system in general. I have acted as General on several of these homes, so I know lots of building lingo, and am proficient at finding good contractors and getting estimates.
I have grown up with animals and absolutely love pets. My very first job was working at a small town pet store in Alaska, so I got very comfortable around pets of all types (excluding snakes and spiders). I do not have farm experience as much as in-home pets.
I love getting my hands dirty and working with plants, so if you simply need some watering done while you’re away or at work, I’m more than happy to give them a drink!
I am happy to house-sit for you, so long as I don’t have to stay the night as I have a service dog of my own that can’t be left alone. If you need a house-sitter and don’t need the overnight stay, or if my dog is welcome there, please message me and we’ll see if we can work something out.
Organization Questions
I LOVE to organize and beautify what is chaotic and messy! Something about my brain that looks for systems and efficiencies. I am happy to make recommendations and see how we can simplify your home and life!
No, getting organized does not have to be expensive! I am an excellent shopper and good at being thrifty. If we decide you need some items there are many options that cost little to nothing to get us started.
I’ve been driving for 27 years and only have 1 ticket and 1 self-caused minor accident in which the only damage was my license plate getting slightly bent. I’d say that’s a pretty good driving record!
Errands & Assistance Questions
All my services require a 2 hour minimum, so I’m happy to run an errand within an allotted time for your service.
No, I am only available for contact during regular business hours. If you have a need that will require me outside of normal working hours, please message me and I’ll see if I can accommodate your request. I’m here to help you in any way I can. You are free to message me and I will return your text as soon as I can, especially if it’s a simple question. However, when I am with a client, I do not answer calls or texts, besides family emergencies since I’m a mother.
