Service Policies

At Not Your Wifey In-Home Services, my goal is to bring peace, polish, and practicality to your space—with no surprises. These policies help set expectations so we both feel respected and prepared.

  • 🚪 Access

    If you won’t be home, please provide clear instructions for entry (keypad code, lockbox, neighbor with a key, etc.). Safety and respect are a top priority—for both of us.

  • ⏱️ Appointments & Punctuality

    Please be ready for your scheduled service time. If I'm unable to begin within 15 minutes due to access delays or other complications, the appointment may need to be shortened or rescheduled.

  • 🧴 Biohazard or Excessive Mess Policy

    Our services are designed for standard residential and commercial cleaning. For insurance purposes, we cannot provide biohazard remediation. This includes, but is not limited to, areas affected by human or animal waste (urine, feces, vomit), strong odors caused by waste, blood, or other hazardous materials.

    If during the course of service we encounter conditions that qualify as biohazard, we reserve the right to stop work immediately. The client will be notified, and no further cleaning will be performed in those areas. Additional fees may apply if significant time has already been spent prior to discovery.

    Clients are responsible for disclosing any known odor, waste, or contamination issues prior to scheduling service. Failure to disclose may result in cancellation of service without refund.

  • ❌ Cancellations

    To respect everyone’s time, cancellations require at least 24 hours' notice. Last-minute cancellations (under 24 hours) incur a $50 cancellation fee. If I arrive and cannot access your home and wasn’t notified, you may also be responsible for a lock-out fee of $50.

  • 🛡️ Liability for Damaged Items

    Not Your Wifey LLC performs services with care and attention. In the rare event an item is damaged due to clear negligence on our part, we will offer a credit based on the current fair market value—not the item's original purchase price or replacement cost.

    We are not liable for damage due to age, wear, pre-existing condition, or heavy buildup. Please alert us ahead of time to any fragile, high-value, or sentimental items so we can take extra care or avoid them altogether.

  • 💲 Payment

    Payment is due upon receipt of invoice. A grace period of 3 business days is provided. Invoices not paid within that time may incur a late fee of $25 or 10% of the total amount due (whichever is greater).

    We appreciate your prompt payment and your respect for the time and energy we pour into each service. Timely payments help us continue providing the high-quality, dependable care your clients and properties deserve.

    Accepted payment methods: cash, card (with 3% fee), Venmo, or PayPal. If you want to pay with card, let me know and I’ll send an email with that payment link.

  • 🐾 Pets & People

    I absolutely adore animals—and I’m always happy to greet your furry friends with love and respect. That said, please understand that while I’m working, I’m often carrying equipment, lifting, moving quickly, or focused on detailed tasks. Having pets underfoot creates safety risks for both of us.

    For that reason:

    • All pets must be secured during your scheduled service (in a crate, a closed room, or another safe space).

    • I am not responsible or liable for pets while I’m in your home—unless you’ve specifically hired me for pet-sitting.

    • If a pet escapes, gets injured, or causes damage or injury during my visit, I cannot be held responsible.

    This policy exists to protect your beloved animals, your property, and me—so I can continue providing the high-quality, thoughtful service you hired me for.

    If you'd like to include pet-sitting or pet care as part of your service, just let me know in advance! I'm happy to help when it's planned and safe.

  • 🛑 Refusal of Service

    While I strive to help every client with care and professionalism, I do reserve the right to refuse service for any reason, including unsafe conditions, disrespectful behavior, or a situation that compromises my well-being or ability to perform my job.

  • ✅ Satisfaction Guarantee

    Your happiness is my priority. If there's anything you’d like touched up or adjusted, please let me know before I leave the property—I’m happy to make it right on the spot!

  • 🔄 Scope Changes & Overage Policy

    Quoted rates are based on the information provided at the time of booking. If the actual condition, size, or requested tasks exceed what was initially discussed, additional charges may apply. Significant changes to the agreed-upon scope of work will be assessed and either approved in advance or invoiced accordingly.

  • 🧽 Supplies

    Not Your Wifey LLC provides all standard cleaning supplies and equipment needed to complete the job. If a client requests the use of specific products or if specialty products are required (e.g., for delicate surfaces like marble, stainless steel, or high-end appliances), these must be communicated in advance. In the event that an excessive amount of product is needed due to the condition of the space, or that specialty items must be purchased, a supply charge will be added to the final invoice to cover those costs.
